As the chief information officer (CIO), Teun van der Vorm (1966) serves as a member of the Board of Directors of ANWB. His previous positions include IT director at USG People and he was responsible for international data communication at KPN.
Professionalizing and transforming organizations to a higher level is his passion. He seeks for and focuses on the best possible balance between high levels of customer satisfaction, motivated employees and ambitious financial objectives. In doing so, he doesn’t hesitate to slaughter sacred cows - albeit in a subtle way.
Teun van der Vorm studied mathematics and informatics at Leiden University and graduated with distinction. Throughout his career, he has attended many courses in IT, marketing, management and change management. With a mixture of experience and knowledge in marketing and IT, he has shown a remarkable capacity to help find solutions for the temporary complex problems on the interface of business and IT. Recently, he received a TIM (The Innovation Manager) Award for being “The Most Transformational Leader” of 2015.”
